This is the hotel for those who want to get away from the crowds and downtown. The Prince Center is tucked away in a pastoral setting, with a wooded, walkable nature preserve in the backyard. You’ll find a distinctively calm and refreshing vibe, with many windows to take in the view, two cozy fireplaces, a patio overlooking the nature preserve and a baby grand piano. Bonus: If your kids are getting old enough to start contemplating college choices, Calvin College’s campus is just a short bridge walk from the hotel. Close to Frederick Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park, the Prince Center also features free Wi-Fi, parking, a fitness center, and breakfast.

Very clean and quiet.Rooms where quaint and comfortable except the pillows were a bit lumpy. No frige in the room so we had to ask for ice a few times as the ice machine was broken. Very friendly service. Will come back again.

I was at Calvin for a conference, and this place was perfect. Obviously right on campus, great breakfast and really friend folks. The rooms were very clean, but also very basic, which was fine. I’d definitely sat here again if I return to Calvin.
