I loved my stay at Polis House! The room was well designed, really comfortable bed with great pillows and bedding. The staff were warm and friendly and the bar with roof top pool was beautiful. The position of the hotel couldn’t be better. 10 mins walk to the beach, and Carmel market (which is amazing) is right on the door step. The hotel is also situated on a pedestrian street which had arts and crafts stalls on. The hotel has 4 options for breakfast, I went to the cafe just next door, which had a beautiful little courtyard garden. The breakfast and fresh croissants were wonderful. This hotel is a gem! I would highly recommend it.

The Poli House is a small, boutique hotel located 10-15 mins walk from the beach.
Positives: friendly and helpful staff, good central location, breakfast in cafe next door perfectly fine (friendly staff), cool rooftop pool and bar, reasonable room rate- approx £200 per night for single occupancy room
Negatives: the room decoration needs refreshing, the wardrobe space is not practical - no room for long hanging clothes and no drawers in the room
Generally a positive experience
