Perfect for a relaxed getaway for an extended family or group of families, the Pitt Farm offers a handful of individual cottages perched peacefully out of the way on 10 acres of beautiful countryside in South Hams. On the farm, children will enjoy the farm animals (particularly running around with them!), small outdoor play area, indoor heated pool, game room and tennis court. Based at Pitt Farm, it’s easy to enjoy more family activities off property with day trips to the nearby stunning beaches and towns of Kingsbridge, Dartmouth and Totnes, where families will find cycling, horseback riding, golfing, fishing and more. In the evening, enjoy relaxing back in your living room around a log fire.
The cottages, converted from large stone-built barns, offer a variety of room configurations certain to fit most families’ needs, and extra cots are available for a fee. Each cottage features a fully equipped kitchen, living and dining area, washer and dryer, TV, DVD, phone, garden or terrace, and parking area. All but one have a dishwasher; linens are included and towels are provided for a fee. Wi-Fi is available in most cottages and in the public tours information room. (Note that fuel and phone are metered and charged on departure.)
When guests arrive, they are greeted by the owners, Pete and Sue Gray, and treated to a delicious welcome of warm scones with clotted cream and jam. Pete and Sue love their farm and go out of their way to accommodate guests and make their stay pleasurable. Pitt Farm is a part of Premier Cottages, a collection of luxury holiday complexes across the British Isles.

We have just returned from a long weekend break with family and friends. The owners are really kind and helpful. Both cottages that we hired were amazing. Roomy, warm, spotless, well equipped and very comfortable.
The facilities were great. Although we were unable to use ourdoor facilities, including tennis court and play area ( because of torrential rain) the youngsters in our party were well occupied using the indoor swimming pool and play barn.
The welcoming touch of wine and scones was much appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble. Many thanks. We hope to return!

We were a group of 8 - 4 adults and 4 young children 1,3,3,4. The cottage is very spacious and lots of room for the children to explore safely. The cottage has all you need for cooking meals, plenty of wine glasses and some plastic plates, cups and bowls for children which was very useful. We thought the little shop was a great addition and used it several times. It was a very wet week but we enjoyed going swimming several times. The walk to the closest village pub was a couple of miles and a lovely walk- you will definitely need wellies for this! All in all a lovely week.Thank you Pete and Sue.
