This was our first visit to this state park and found it to be a very well kept up and nice lay out of so many things to do and with such great views of the scenery. We rented a cabin as we always do when we come to this area and they have everything you need in them to survive for a week, bring your own groceries and they ask you to bring your own paper towels and coffee filters. Otherwise besides needing towels for pool your set. We enjoyed our quiet weekend and will definitely make a return. The beds were very comfortable even though it sat up a little too high for me and the furnishings of living room area were ok but could use some improving. But there is so much to do here depending on your time of visit, but do know they have quite a bit for you to do. There is a couple different lodges here as well. So do check out, great place.

My husband and I joined several friends for a sixth grade class reunion. The banquet room was excellent, food was incredible, and staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything just as we requested. We enjoyed our first evening enjoying pizza, cheesy bread, wings and beverages at the Black Bear and everyone had a great time. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. Debbie and Erica paid attention to every single detail and their staff was great for our banquet gathering. We also enjoyed the game room, which is suitable for all ages with plenty of choices from pool, air hockey, ping pong and lots of video games. The main lodge rooms could use a little updating, but our room had an amazing view, was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. For a very relaxing and comfortable get away, this is a great choice.
