Each has a fireplace and a private deck. All rooms at the resort feature Internet access and cable TV. Onsite dining is available at Ducey’s on the Lake, which specializes in steak, pasta and seafood, as well as a full breakfast in the mornings. Casual meals can be found at Ducey’s Bar & Grill, with burgers, fish tacos and salads.
The hotel provides a small market for stocking room refrigerators. A full-service marina is available to rent jet skis, ski boats or pontoon boats, and a small spa facility is available for treatments. Bass Lake features sandy beaches, and the resort also provides an outdoor pool, as well as tennis courts, basketball court, and a children’s playground. In the summer, a snack shop is located near the pool.

We were in the Chalets, not the main building which meant that there was no real view of the lake. The Chalet was spacious with a kitchen and living area on the main level and a bedroom, bathroom on the lower level. There is also a loft which requires one to climb a ladder, we did not see the need to use it. It is about an 45 minutes from the South Yosemite gate, so for the price it was perfect.
There is no maid service but if you needed anything like coffee, towels, shampoo, the front desk was happy to run it up to you. There is a laundry facility on site, but the detergent dispensing machine was broken and had to buy laundry soap at convenience store located on premises. We spent 4 nights and had dinner in both restaurants and breakfast in the main dining room. Food was quite good, breakfast was great!
There are also shops, deli/convenience store, pizza on site.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at Pine Lodge for 2 nights. The hotel and rooms have a very ‘cabin’ type feel about them, lots of wooden furniture and their decor is very country. The room we had compromised of a kitchen area with sink, fridge freezer, microwave and stove, lounge area and a terrace with a BBQ. Downstairs was the main bedroom, and bathroom.
The rooms are very dated but comfortable, however we had no house keeping at all during the two nights we were there.
The hotel has shops, and two restaurants; one is more budget and diner like, the other one is more upmarket and more expensive.
This was a great budget base for exploring the local area and Yosemite
