Overview

Located steps from California’s southernmost beach, the Pier South Resort offers families large guestrooms and suites with separate sleeping and living areas. The hotel has four floors with 78 rooms, each with complimentary Wi-Fi, in-room coffee makers, flat-screen TV’s and floor-to-ceiling windows with balconies overlooking the ocean. The hotel has a fitness center with complimentary fitness classes, but you will also get all of your exercise from the pool, beach and water sports available, such as kayaking, surfing and bike rentals. The onsite restaurant, SEA180, serves Mediterranean cuisine and offers delicious views of the coast. Onsite self-parking and valet are both available. Local attractions include the San Diego Zoo and PETCO Park.

Amazing!

Beautiful resort, right on the beach, great service, would definitly stay there again! The Pier is really close walking distance. The rooms were beautiful and clean, the roof top offered beautiful views,overlooking the ocean and Pier. You will see fantastic sunsets on the beach side.

Amazing stay!

We selected Pier South on Imperial Beach, thinking it would be more intimate and romantic than a hotel on Coronado. Best decision ever!
The reception upon arrival set the tone. Danielle and Gabriella were both wonderful. They were friendly and attentive and allowed us to check in early, keeping us informed on the progress of our room cleaning via text message. The room was spacious and clean and was situated right on the beach. Beautiful views with balcony seating and a door that could be left open for a cool breeze and the sound of crashing waves.
The on-site restaurant was amazing for breakfast, lunch or dinner, with amazing ocean views inside and outside. The service was personable and relaxed.
The community was quaint and clean. Street parking is free and was plentiful during our stay. Restaurants, coffee shops, and novelty stores line the street and at each spot, we were met with friendly service that felt like being welcomed by friends.
We married on Coronado Beach the 2nd day of our 3 night stay and were welcomed back to the hotel with cheers, well wishes, champagne and a restaurant credit! We were overwhelmed by the genuinely gracious excitement shared with us by the staff and will forever find out trip to Pier South memorable. We look forward to an annual return!
