Overview

This is a five-star, all-inclusive resort and the first built-from-scratch getaway destination in Alvor, Portugal. One of the biggest attractions for families are the six swimming pools, each with its own features. The northern pool is deeper and rectangular, perfect for swimmers. The three southern pools are ideal for activities such as water aerobics and water game and the central pool has a ramp allowing easy access to users with reduced mobility.

Situated on the ocean, there is plenty of splash time fun to be had shore-side as well. There are three onsite restaurants from which to choose, plus 24-hour room service.

There is a kids’ club at the resort, a playground and splash and fun equipment at one of the pools. Other onsite activities at the 360,000-square foot property include tennis, paddle tennis, mini\-golf, fitness center, tourist train to the beach, Jacuzzi, concert hall and more. There’s even baby room for the wee ones.

Extremely poor customer Service

Following a previous post regarding this hotel... we stayed as a family of 4 in July... our card was debuted twice & after endless emails and calls .. Pestana group have yet to refund almost €2200.00 !!!!
We were left with no option but to see legal advise and pursue which incurs more expense.
TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE from a hotel group this size ...
My advise to anyone using this hotel... PAY CASH

Autumn Break

Attractively laid out complex with small blocks. Comfortable modern rooms all with balconies and amenities including fridge, safe, hairdrier, large TV. Rooms were sometimes serviced late in day perhaps due to lack of staff. Large buffet restaurant catering for all tastes with two free bookable speciality restaurants. Complimentary drinks OK considering mostly local with well prepared cocktails. Lovely swimming pools which although unheated were warmed enough by afternoon with hot sun. Lovely for families. Transfer about 1 hour from Faro but would have been quicker if transport had used motorway (toll road). Very small on site shop. Spa.
