I had searched high and low and everything was booked in Philadelphia the weekend I visited. I stumbled upon this little hotel and it's historic look and the area is what drew me in. The room was adorable with a gas fireplace and a jacuzzi tub. I loved that it was old fashioned and you used an actual key to get in your room. They were very nice and held our bags for 7 hours before check in and kept them in a locked room along with others...and also an entire day after check out due to our flights. They were helpful with places to go in the area and extremely polite. Only two negatives that I have are the following: Our room (308) was adorable but it did not have a fridge. This was disappointing as we had nowhere to store leftovers and had to throw them away. Secondly, I feel need they need to upgrade their breakfast a little. The only choices were cereal, breads, muffins, some fruit and hard boiled eggs. I realize that is a continental breakfast, however, much cheaper hotels are at least providing sausage or some type of eggs or at least a waffle maker. It was very basic for the money. Just a little disappointing. Everything else was superb! Will stay again and will recommend!!!

This was my second time here, and I'm guessing my last. They did not have my reservation when I arrived, even though it was confirmed. Their google system for reservations is unprofessional. But the real downside is when they found it, they put me into a very small "jr. Suite" that did not have a Queen bed as advertised, and the bathtub drain didn't work, so it was completely full, and unusable. And when we checked out at 6:30 a.m., there was no one at the desk. A sign of "we'll be back soon" (and they weren't) left. They did not even discount the room after all of that. Disgraceful. I do not recommend.
