The perfect little mountain getaway, this unassuming resort features cozy knotty pine cabins that have been renovated with cutesy furnishings and fully renovated modern bathrooms. The cabins are full of amenities, including comfy beds, cooking range, microwave, and outdoor grill. While some of the furnishings are slightly dated, everything is meticulously clean and well-maintained, making this place a great bargain. Cabins contain a mix of queen, full, and twin beds; several of them connect together to provide even more room for larger families.

The grounds include plenty of activities to keep the kids busy, including a large swimming pool, bicycles, a soccer field and horseshoe court, and an outdoor fire pit. There are also plenty of perks for adults, including an outdoor Jacuzzi and sauna. The location on the northwestern edge of the White Mountain National Forest is a 20-minute drive from Cannon Mountain and the Mount Washington Cog Railway, while a similar drive in the other direction will bring you to Santa’s Village, the year-round North Pole theme park.
