Overview

While harbor and marina views may not be as stellar as the wide-open Lake Superior, this hotel is sheltered from the Canal Park bustle and close to the sandy beaches and lake views. It’s also among the newer hotels. Like many in Canal Park, it includes an indoor pool and free hot breakfast to draw families. Any kids who appreciate giant ships and fishing boats will love watching them flow in and out of the harbor and discovering how far they’ve traveled to get there. There also is an hourly free shuttle to Canal Park in the evenings.

Super location!

We are so happy about our stay here. The complimentary shuttle is great although the inn is close enough to walk to Canal Park. We had a 2nd floor harbor view room and thought it was worth it. The breakfast area was crowded and not much in way of gluten or dairy free offerings (which is unfortunately standard for hotel breakfasts). But we would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here one night to visit family. Good location--near the lake and Canal Park (with a shuttle to Canal Park). My room was spacious and very clean. There is a free breakfast with a variety of hot and cold options; I also enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub. The staff was friendly and efficient. This is a place I would stay at again.
