Hotel was nice, older but nice, had problems with water and electricity in some rooms. Bring your own towels and whatever you wash your body with. Hotel only supplies a towel, you can purchase a body scrubber in the lobby. Resturant is minimal and there is no bar. But the Resturant across the street is great.

Great location,very safe even at night, excellent customer service (Yazmin -fantastic person, will go out of the way to help you); she will set up tours, recommend SanTours (City Tour, Monte Alban & Mitla); lively atmosphere ; unique colonial architecture, cleanliness, good restaurant, ask for a downtown map (very helpful), walking distance to restaurants even though the hotel restaurant "El Pipe" is also very good,recommend going to Mercado Benito Juarez (about 10 blocks from hotel;where the food is just as good but far more inexpensive);
El Tendajon Agaveria Restaurant just a few feet from the hotel has excellent tacos and very inexpensive;
