Paradise Resort on Australia’s Gold Coast is one of presumably very few hotels on earth that feature its own ice rink. On top of that, there is a water park, a rock climbing zone and a kids’ club with nine themed areas welcoming children ages 0 to 12. Guests have a convenience store, a bistro, a cafe and a bar onsite. The resort also has an adults entertainment area with live music.
The resort is located near the beach at Surfer’s Paradise, giving families easy access to the beach. Rooms suitable for families include interconnecting hotel rooms rooms that sleep up to eight people. Many rooms contain spa baths and games consoles. Cots and highchairs can be provided on request.

We stayed 7 nights, 2 adults 2 kids. When we checked in it was obvious there were 4 people, but despite this we went up to our room with 3 beds at 2.30am after long day of travel. They brought a cot bed eventually but the sheets were stained. So was the towel and the wall. The next day we were upgraded, still with a cot bed but a nicer room. The housekeeping is pretty awful. It became apparent they were just rinsing our cups in the bathroom sink, possibly using the same sponge to clean the sink. We knew this when we found the sponge and dishes half done in the bathroom. They only completely made the room up twice and that was with us specifically approaching staff to do it. Our stay came with 4 hrs of kids club but our kids felt one lady was mean and told them to "shut up" so they never went back. Bummer, no adult time at all. But the waterpark was cool, and we enjoyed the VR and especially the laser tag! Buy the voucher book it's well worth it. The dinners were always good. It's a good spot to get to the theme parks and shopping.

This resort is perfect for families with young kids. They will have fun in the pools and the hourly activities will keep them entertained throughout the stay. The resort is centrally located and can get to most attractions easily enough.
The rooms are a little run down with some upgrades needed to make the stay better.
No Wi-Fi was disappointing
