Children ages 8 and older are welcome at this gorgeous B&B in a 1913 home on the banks of the Manatee River, just steps from the marina, Palmetto Historical Park, and other downtown restaurants and shops. It has three large suites with fireplaces and three rooms all elegantly decorated with historical appointments.
All accommodations have private baths, high-speed Wi-Fi, and modern amenities. A full hot breakfast on the sunny porch is included with the stay.
Note: Most weekends, the property hosts weddings, so it is closed to other guests when that is the case. It is also popular for family reunions.

Palmetto Riverside B&B excels in all ways. Our recent three night stay in the Riverview Suite was an absolute pleasure. Breakfasts are wonderful, Wim and Mieke are the perfect hosts. Looking forward to our next visit.

We cannot say enough about the wonderful Palmetto Riverside B&B. While we are not new to this establishment (our son was married there September 2017), we had not had the pleasure of staying at this special place. Our hosts, Wim and Mieke, go above and beyond making one feel like family. Our room (Palmetto Suite) was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The sheets, towels and toiletries are what you would expect in a high end hotel.
We enjoyed 2 beautiful breakfasts as well as their dinner dining experience. For the quality and service provided, there is no better overall dining experience to be had in the area. They take great pride in the wine pair with each course and the presentation is outstanding.
We can say without reservation, after a weekend wedding, a general dining event and a two-night stay, Wim and Mieke have mastered the art of great hospitality.
We are already thinking about our next trip ????
