Located on Highway 101, steps away from the historic old town of Florence and its antique district, the Old Town Inn is centrally located for easy touring of the town’s shops, art galleries and restaurants. This older hotel was transformed in 2013 to include interior and exterior updates, and prides itself on its personalized hospitality. The staff will help guests with coordinating activities, making reservations, printing maps and tide charts and more. The 40 rooms come in two configurations, a Double Queen or Single King, and each includes free Wi-Fi, coffee service, microwave, mini-fridge and a white noise feature with the alarm clock. A complimentary limited “Breakfast on the Run” serves coffee, muffins and locally made donuts. Kids 11 and under stay free. Golfing families will find two golf packages.
From the hotel, head out to Oregon Dunes National Recreation area for dune buggy rides, romping in the sand dunes, fishing or crabbing on the river, and hiking along the beach.
