Tucked on the beach between East Hampton and Montauk, this property of apartment type accomodations is perfect. Lovely pool, steps to beach and our space was efficient, well designed with nice finishes and super clean. Hope to enjoy more time here next summer!

At around $1,000 PN (all in) one can go to many 5 star resorts around the world w beautiful beaches. Foolishly and unfortunately we chose Ocean Colony. I booked 3 Nights and only stayed for 2. To start, our room was advertised as “lower ocean view”. I have attached a pix-can’t see an ocean even if I were on stilts. This was misleading...at minimum. The bathroom had mold and was infested w/ants at night. The fans were dirty and rusty. The noise level from the room above is sure to keep u up all night.

If the price were “reasonable” for the Hamptons the above may be sort of tolerable. As the cost was 5 star pricing the expectation is 5 star as well. It’s hit or miss w these complexes. Some units may be nicer than others. Some can be hideous. The overall complex is fine and maintained decently. Ok pool. Tennis courts. Nice beach. Just pissed me off that I spent $3k for this pretty bad experience that compelled me to leave a day early when there are thousands of better options out there.
