This is my 4th trip to this hotel and I love it. I come with my girlfriends as an annual getaway, and as adults we love that we can get the ocean-front suites and each have our own bedroom and bathroom. We also choose the Premium package.
Lourdes always checks in from the Premium lounge, and is incredibly friendly and helpful. Omar takes care of us at breakfast every morning with an amazing smile and willingness to find whatever we need. Jorge is our favorite poolside waiter and is so attentive and friendly. He even remembered that we’d been here about 6 months ago! Vincent also took good care of us at upstairs buffet dinner.
It’s not super fancy, but we love that this hotel is not too big and we get great and reliable service every time. The food is good and the rooms are ideal. The mall right next door is convenient for picking up and groceries you may want (yes, it’s a grocery inside a regular mall!) or buying silver jewelry.

This hotel needs updating. The rooms are painted a drab brown and for the area should be bright and colorful. The beds weren't bad.....not lumpy and plenty of pillows. The restaurants were average with not a whole lot of variety though the food was always fresh, and we were happy La Clariboya (the lower buffet restaurant) had fresh salad every day. The pools were ok; the middle pool needs retiled - they replaced some of them but it doesn't look nice, and the adults only pool was never skimmed the few times we were there so there was debris constantly floating in it. What made the stay was the employees. They went out of their way to make you feel like family.....Alex at the Lobby bar, Carlos and Dahlia at La Clariboya buffet, Abduhlia at the Seafood restaurant.....and everyone in between were fantastic.
