I decided to surprise my wife with a two night stay at the Riverview Cabin for our 33rd Anniversary. I wanted to make sure we didn’t have to shop and lug groceries to the cabin the first night and next morning so I ordered The breakfast Basics for Two and The Grill Master Junior.

When we arrived Natalie showed my wife into the cabin and explained everything, while Herb and I covered other details in the office. When I entered the cabin I was pleasantly surprised how nice the place was decorated and still had a comfy feel! The Riverside Cabin was well maintained with very little wear, unlike most cabins that experience high use like this one.

Later that evening we went to the fridge to start dinner and saw that it was stocked and everything was plated and labeled individually with cooking instructions. All of the food was fresh and tasty especially the filets, turkey sausage, and homemade apple butter Natalie made. The food that was supposed to cover 2 meals for us was plentiful enough to cover another lunch and breakfast.

Kicking back was what we were looking for and the place was perfect. It was so quiet and relaxing with the river at our back door. Fly fishing was fabulous as well even though it was late in the season. We couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing and quiet Anniversary! Thanks Natalie and Herb for sharing your secret “Slice of Heaven” with us, we’re looking forward to a return visit in the near future!

We stayed in the "Chipmunk " cabin which was beautifully furnished and equipped , the owners really put a lot of thought and energy into the properties to ensure their guests have a great stay. The location by the river is so calming and although we only had two nights here we really felt chilled and relaxed in these surroundings.
We are on a road trip through California , Arizona , Nevada, Colorado and Utah and I dont think we will find a more homely place to stay !
