Overview

Each of the 32 guestrooms at this no-frills North Conway resort has a balcony look out over the Saco River Valley to a lovely view of the White Mountains in the distance. The affordable hotel offers a nice middle ground between a motel and a resort-the rooms are spacious and the views are to die-for, while the furnishings are a slight step up from the average motel–with beds with polyester bedspreads, dark wood furniture, televisions, and refrigerators–and the room rates are reasonable.
The location on the north side of town is still within walking distance of downtown shops and across the street from the Kahuna Laguna water park, and just a short drive from Story Land, Mount Cranmore, and Mount Washington. The lodging is also one of the few places in town that can accommodate dogs, which are welcome on first-floor rooms.

Location is greatest factor. In-room amenities are fine at the bargain nightly rate. If there were a pool I'd upgrade to 4*. Clean. Comfortable beds. Right on Route 16, but no road noise of consequence in the rooms.

Nice clean room; reasonable nightly rate. Only negative...no pool for my wife. Inn on main route, plenty of eateries; 5 minutes from Railway and Mini Golf sites. Beautiful mountain views from all rooms in rear of building. Would stay here again.
