Sorry to say our room was less than it should be for such a nice resort of such rich character and history. Our room was in the annex building and although the room was clean the finishes of the bathroom were very dated and cheep. It was a sure sign of problems when we found ear plugs on the night stand. Sure enough every step, every flush and movement of people above could be heard. We truly enjoyed our stay inspire of these disappointing aspects of our room. I would like to stay in the main building to compare but don't know if I would risk that with so many other options in this area.

The property and room was absolutely beautiful, cozy and tranquil. The staff was friendly at check in. Servers at bar and dining area were attentive and made us feel valued. I would definitely come back and stay here longer.
