Overview

This is a charming, small, four-room inn. The inn is on the second floor of a fully-restored 120-year-old building that was originally Richey’s Book Store and Stationers in 1885. Each room is unique, spacious, comfy and cozy. All have fully-equipped kitchens, private bathrooms and central air.
For families, there is a great option, the Homebody, a one-bedroom apartment situated at the rear of the building and also the most private. Perfect for families wanting plenty of space, or business clients who need room to spread out with work after-hours, Homebody provides a home away from home. Here you’ll enjoy a king bed, ample closet and bathroom space (double sinks) and a full kitchen. The sizeable living area offers a sleeper sofa, and there’s also a dining area and computer desk. There is another suite well-appointed for families, too.

This place is very special, very nice and helpfull owner and a unike room with a lot off nice details. We could walk to everything from the hotel, it is very nice located downtown Durango, we would love to come back to the hotel and town some day. (late review, stayed here june 2018)

Traveling through Colorado we decided to stay one evening in Durango. We wanted a great location room so we could walk to everything and that is exactly what we got! Booking was done online and about 15 minutes later a code was sent for access. It was a great experience even without the face to face interaction. Great fun touches in the room and we enjoyed the chocoate and local coffee. I would 100% stay here again while traveling though Durango!
