Overview

Up and running since 1964, this resort is just 1 mile from downtown Estes Park and ideal for families. There are many amenities and activities onsite that are excellent for all ages. In the summer, the trout are stocked in Fall River for fishing, and youth under 16 don’t require a fishing license on property. Another bonus in summer is the outdoor swimming pool that is open. For room choices, there are plenty, from your standard king or one queen and one full bed to a cabin for larger families. Nicky’s Restaurant is right next door for onsite dining. There’s a putting green and also a picnic area at the resort.

Great Home Base

This was a great place for what we needed. We were on a three day hiking trip in Estes Park. We needed a nice place for a home base and Nicky’s was perfect for that. If you’re looking for high end amenities, this isn’t the Hilton. But if you need a nice place to be comfortable, clean up, and it’s convenient, this is the place the stay.

The parking was very convenient. We parked right outside our door. The room was nice and clean. The room was small, but just right for a couple. The water pressure was perfect and the shower was hot. The bed was comfortable. The location was great, being right outside downtown Estes and close to RMNP.

We will definitely stay there again. Their weekday rates are really good. The weekends are reasonable in comparison. We were very happy with Nicky’s.

We heard of this place from acquaintances who had been been here recently. We we pleased!

Good service from Alan and excellent food. I had lasagna and my pal had a great steak. We sat in a room creekside with cute wine bottles hung as decorations.

Carrot cake dessert was great too.
