Woodloch Pines Resort, located in the Poconos Mountains of Pennsylvania, is rolling out a new VENTURE program. The new program is part of the resort’s Active Vacation Program, intended on promoting physical, nutritional and emotional wellness for families. Launching in time for National Family Wellness Month in May, VENTURE includes new stand-up paddle boards, white-water kayaking excursions, hot air balloon rides, paint ball in the forest, zip-lining, expanded archery, nature trails, mountain biking, a climbing wall, water skiing, mountain biking, trap shooting, and sailing.
The Active Vacation Program provides families with family fitness classes, Passports to Fitness, and a revamped nutritional menu for family-style meals. All programming is included within the resort’s all-inclusive rates, with certain VENTURE programs requiring additional fees and reservations. Special May rates start at $149 per person.
