Morey’s Piers, located in the popular Jersey Shore destination of Wildwood, N.J., has announced it will reopen for the 2014 season on April 12, and teases at new additions.
The Grand Opening celebration will take place on Mariner’s Landing Pier from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 13. New this season is the Taco Joint, a California-Mexico cantina. Guests visiting the following weekend, Easter weekend, will also be able to ride on the new and taller Wave Swinger, which replaces the original attraction. The ride will bring riders 50 feet above the beach and features 72 panels with images of Wildwood’s history.
Early-bird guests can also nab season tickets and passes. The 2014 Season passes are available online March 20 through April 25 for $315, which includes one ride wristband per day for use on all three piers, as well as one three-hour daily admission at one of the two water parks. The MOR-EZ Card, available for $35, provides 60 ride tickets plus coupons, for those who are not available to visit all season. Water park passes, available in 10 packs, are also available for $240.
