Universal Orlando Resort will open its third theme park on May 25, 2017. Volcano Bay, a new water theme park, will feature 30 fully immersive acres for thrills and relaxation.
Volcano Bay will feature different age-appropriate areas of the park, include Waturi Beach, Ko’okiri Body Plunge in The Reef pool, TeAwa The Fearless River, Kopiko Winding River, Tot Tiki Reef and more. The Universal theme park will also provide visitors with waterproof TapuTapu wristbands that will allow guests to approach a ride, tap their wristband and receive a time to return to the ride for their chance to avoid waiting in line.
Volcano Bay admission will be available as single-day or theme park packages, allowing guests to visit all three parks, including Islands of Adventure and Universal Orlando. New volcano-side rooms overlooking the theme park will be available at Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort.
