United Airlines is preparing for a high-travel period this summer with the addition of new flights to more destinations.
New domestic markets include flights between Newark, New Jersey (EWR) and Sacramento, California (SMF) in June; Chicago (ORD) and Charlottesville, Virginia (CH)), Champaign/Urbana, Illinois (CMI), Columbia, Missouri (COU), Reno, Nevada (RNO), Rochester, Minnesota (RST), and Spokane, Washington (GEG); and San Francisco (SFO) to Detroit (DTW), GEG, Santa Rosa, California (STS) and Hartford, Connecticut (BDL).
New international service will begin between San Francisco and Munich Airport in May.
Expanded domestic service and flight frequencies are also being added, including 47 new daily roundtrip flights.
