Families in the U.K. are about to catch a break on future air travel.

Beginning May 1, 2015, the Air Passenger Duty — a departure tax in the U.K. — will be terminated on economy fare for children ages 12 and under. On May 1, 2016, the change with be extended to those 16 and under.

Without the added tax, families will save approximately 71 British pounds (about $110).

Additionally, airlines will be required to list on tickets how much of the total fare is applied to fuel costs.
