TripAdvisor’s annual Travelers’ Choice awards reveals the favorite landmarks of the U.S. and the world, just in time for the summer travel season. If you haven’t visited some of these iconic landmarks, now is the time!
The Top 10 U.S. Landmarks, according to TripAdvisor travelers include five from New York City: Grand Central Terminal, Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. San Francisco is home to two popular landmarks: the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island. Rounding out the top 10 are Washington, D.C.’s Lincoln Memorial, Honolulu’s USS Arizona Memorial and Asheville, North Carolina’s Biltmore Estate.
Top worldwide landmarks can be found in Cambodia, United Arab Emirates, Spain, Italy, India, Russia, China and Peru, including Milan’s Duomo, India’s Taj Mahal and Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
