Tampa’s Busch Gardens Adding Thrilling New Coaster

Not to be outdone by all of the new rides and attractions opening in Orlando, Tampa’s Busch Gardens theme park has unveiled its plans for a new roller coaster, slated to open in 2016.

Cobra’s Curse will combine a traditional roller coaster with spins found on Tilt-A-Whirls. The snake-themed ride takes eight riders on a train through Busch Gardens Egypt section. The train will twist and turn at speeds of up to 40 miles per hour, bringing riders 70 feet into the air as it comes face to face with an 80-foot cobra.
