The first-ever Winter Festival will be launched at Tahoe Donner Cross Country Ski Area this month, introducing families to Nordic sports.
The inaugural Winter Festival, to be held on Jan. 24, will treat festival-goers to discounted ski and snowshoe rentals, free lessons and tours, discounted trail passes, free demonstrations on cross country skiing, snowshoeing and fat bike equipment, live music and barbecue.
The festival will take place at Lake Tahoe’s Tahoe Donner Cross Country Ski Area at the new Alder Creek Adventure Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
