Branson’s beloved Silver Dollar City has announced an exciting new attraction: Mystic River Falls.
The new water attraction will be themed around Marvel Cave, which was a popular local attraction in the 1950s and 1960s. The family who started Silver Dollar City actually did so to entertain tourists before or after they visited the caves!
Mystic River Falls will feature the tallest raft ride drop in the Western Hemisphere, dropping 4.5 stories. Other highlights include:
- Half-mile, five-minute journey
- Eight-person rafts (so everyone in the family can ride at once)
- A more than eight-story lift tower, exposed to the open air as riders make their way to the top
- An elevated river channel suspended in the air, 66 feet high
Mystic River Falls will be located in a new area called Rivertown, which will be Silver Dollar City’s largest investment ever. Mystic River Falls is slated to open in 2020.
