Seaside Heights’ Casino Pier and Breakwater Beach will launch new attractions in time for summer trips to the Jersey Shore.
At Casino Pier, families will enjoy a new 36-hole, multi-level mountain golf course with waterfalls and a “fun layout,” according to an official news release. The waterfalls will be integrated with a new wave pool at Breakwater Beach, where families will also enjoy two water slides — one speed slide and the other with a snake-like design. A new eatery will be added to the water park as well, and will feature a seashore town design.
The popular Seaside Speedway Go-Kart Track will also be expanding in 2015, with a new pit location and larger track, and a new ride — Double Shot Drop Tower — will debut.
Additionally, Casino Pier is seeking approvals for a new roller coaster and Ferris wheel, likely to open in 2016.
Seaside Heights is situated less than two hours from New York City, and offers several budget-friendly motels, including Bay Breeze Motel and Colony Motel.
