Sure, any all-inclusive resort with a swimming pool and kids club will do, but Generations Riviera Maya, which opened in February, has gone one step — or shall we say, one bite — further to offer a new culinary program for children.
The program, called Little Eko Chefs, offers opportunities to make pasta, ice cream, tortillas and tamales. Kids can also learn the art of ice shaving and sushi rolling, and are given a certificate at the end of their visit.
“Little Eko Chefs is an unprecedented experience for our youngest guests to truly immerse themselves in the cultures of other foods, gain cooking skills for the future, and learn easy and delicious recipes as part of many memories they’ll be taking home from their stays at Generations Riviera Maya,” says Jeroen Hanlo, Vice President of Food & Beverage for Karisma Hotels & Resorts.
Designed for children ages 4 to 12, the new program is free of additional charges. It officially launches later this month, and will be hosted at 4 p.m. daily in the Eko Kids Club.
