Riu Hotels & Resorts has opened its first New York City hotel: Riu Plaza New York Times Square. The newly constructed, $310-million hotel sits in Times Square’s Restaurant Row.
Riu Plaza New York Times Square features nearly 650 rooms and suites, with doubles, executives, junior suites and even family suites with two full beds and a sofa bed to accommodate five guests. Amenities include flat-screen TVs and complimentary Wi-Fi. All-day dining is available in the hotel’s Fashion restaurant, which features a breakfast buffet in the mornings, and a la carte lunch and dinner from noon to 11 p.m. daily.
Opening rates for the Manhattan property begin at $179 per night.
