For the fourth consecutive year, Renaissance Hotels brings back its worldwide Global Day of Discovery event. For 24 hours today, June 11, 160 hotels in 35 countries will be celebrating.
Renaissance’s properties around the world are offering exclusive events and experiences meant to bring a taste of the local scene into its hotels. Each hotel’s lifestyle concierge, “the Navigator,” are curating the programs. Included in the hubbub is the Renaissance Chicago Downtown revealing its multimillion renovation with the “Happiest Hour Block Party” featuring Robin Thicke. In New York, the Renaissance New York Times Square Hotel is partnering with Tony-nominated Broadway musical “Something Rotten” for a mini-flash mob in front of the hotel showcasing the opening number.
Visitors not staying at a Renaissance Hotels property can witness the events taking place above and in cities such as Bangkok, London, Paris, Cairo, Barcelona and Indian Wells, as it is being live streamed on Periscope @RenHotels.
