Didn’t make it to Radio City’s Christmas Spectacular? Plan to attend the Springtime Spectacular instead — a brand new event set to debut in March 2015.
Whoopi Goldberg and Laura Benanti will contribute their talents to the show; Goldberg will voice the Statue of Liberty, while Benanti will play Jenna, a young character who inevitably joins the Radio City Rockettes (who, of course, are the headline attraction of the show). Overall, the show will honor the Big Apple, highlighting the “places and people which give the city its unique springtime magic,” according to the event’s official website.
The show’s run time is 90 minutes (no intermission), and children over the age of 2 require a ticket; the event will run through May 3.
