Portland, Oregon’s Hilton Executive Tower will reopen following an extensive renovation as the lifestyle hotel, The Duniway. Located near the city park with the same name, The Duniway seeks to showcase the heart and soul of Portland.
“We are very excited to introduce The Duniway, a tribute to our city’s rich history and the explorative state of mind for which Portland is best known,” said Eric Walters, General Manager, Hilton Portland Downtown and The Duniway. “It is our intent to provide guests staying at The Duniway with an authentic Portland experience like no other and look forward to hosting visitors from all over the world and showing them the true unpredictable character of the city, which makes it so remarkable.”
The rebranded hotel will feature 327 310-square-foot guest rooms with traditional and contemporary furnishings with nature-inspired elements. Local artisans known for their craftsmanship will provide features, and curated collections of books from the city’s iconic Powell Books will be featured in each room, along with 65-inch flat-screen TVs.
The hotel will also feature a new restaurant, JackRabbit, a fun home to family-style servings with Pacific Northwest and vegetable-focused dishes.
The Duniway will remain a Hilton hotel.
