Just outside of Walt Disney Resort, the new residential-style resort, The Grove, is now open on Lake Austin. The 878-room resort features more than 800 residential suites, multiple swimming pools, a water park, and easy access to Disney’s Western Way entrance.
The Grove Resort & Spa’s 800 suites offer up to 1,600 square feet of space for families with full kitchens and washers and dryers with two- and three-bedroom options. When taking a break from the theme parks, the 106-acre resort’s Surfuri Water Park, which opens in October, will provide a family-friendly water park with a surf simulator, 725-foot lazy river and four swimming pools, three of which are called The Springs as they neighbor each other. Situated on Lake Austin, Austin Pier will eventually be home to water sports, fishing and paddle boats.
Dining at the resort will include a large indoor/outdoor restaurant, poolside dining at the water park and the Springs, and a grab-and-go market. The Escape Spa provides a full-service spa menu, and the resort also provides a children’s game room at the Hoopla.
Bookings are now available with a special summer sale providing 40 percent off rates for previewing the resort before it is fully operation in October. Families willing to wait until fall to experience all the Orlando resort will offer can save with early pre-booking specials.
