The City of Brotherly Love will feature its first high-rise observation deck this month when One Liberty opens on Nov. 28. Located on the 57th floor of One Liberty Place at 1650 Market Street, the deck will be managed by the same company that operates the John Hancock Tower in Chicago.
Opening at 10 a.m., the observation deck will remain open daily, 365 days per year, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets will be $19 for adults and $14 for kids ages 3 to 11. Guests will board an express elevator in a 75-second ride to the deck, which will afford panoramic views and multilingual interactive technology to showcase the best in Philadelphia. Art installations include a giant statue of Benjamin Franklin, whose feet are visible on the ground level and head can found on the 57th floor, appearing to stand 57 stories tall.
