Nickelodeon Universe at the new American Dream Mall in Rutherford, New Jersey, just became the largest indoor theme park in North America.
Opened October 25, the new indoor attraction features 35-plus roller coasters, rides, and attractions, including the Shell Raiser, a roller coaster with a 120-foot drop, and the Nickelodeon Slime Stage, where guests will can enjoy live entertainment. Kids also have a chance to meet SpongeBob, Dora the Explorer and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Nickelodeon Universe will be joined by a new ice skating rink, as well as a new indoor water park, DreamsWork Water Park, expected to open in November.
Tickets for Nickelodeon Universe are priced at $39.99, or $49.99 for an all-access pass. Admission is free for children age 2 and under.
The 8.5-acre theme park was created by the same team that developed Nickelodeon Universe at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota.
