Newport, Rhode Island’s largest hotel has completed a $35-million transformation and is now open to showcase its extensive renovations. The 320-room Newport Marriott features a seaside color palette for its nautical setting, and has added a new restaurant, Mainsail. The 98-seat restaurant offers harbor views and a seafood menu.
The hotel’s 4,500-square-foot spa, also the largest in Newport, also received renovations. It connects to a 10,000-square-foot health club with an indoor saline pool, whirlpool, sauna, fitness center, racquetball courts, and a roof deck for warmer months.
