Construction has begun on Soaky Mountain Waterpark, a 50-acre outdoor complex in Sevierville, Tennessee.
The new water park will feature a 35,000-square-foot wave pool (with waves reaching as high as 6 feet), lazy river, kids’ sprayground, kid-friendly activity pool, adventure pool with obstacle course, flat-water cabana pool for relaxing, and a double Flowrider.
The water park will also feature multiple waterslides, including a water coaster, a family raft ride and two high-intensity body slides.
Guests of the nearby Wilderness at the Smokies (named one of the 10 Best Indoor Water Park Resorts in the U.S.) will likely receive preferred pricing for Soaky Mountain, according to an official press release.
