A new luxury resort operating under the Starwood Hotels & Resorts collection of properties broke ground in Los Cabos, Mexico, this weekend. The new Solaz resort will open in the area in June 2017, becoming Starwood’s first Luxury Collection property in the popular Pacific Coast destination.
The 33-acre Solaz, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Los Cabos, resort will feature 131 guest rooms and suites across distinct six-floor buildings. Each room will be designed to incorporate the area’s lush landscaping and ocean views, with outdoor terraces and private swimming pools. The resort will also house three restaurants: an all-day dining offering, a specialty restaurant, and a pool grill. The resort’s pool deck and private beach club will span more than 26,000 square feet, with additional space devoted to an extensive spa and fitness center.
