Darien Lake has confirmed it will open a vertical drop roller coaster in 2018. The name? Tantrum. Sign. Us. Up.
The new roller coaster features a 90-degree ascent before plummeting riders in a 97-degree drop — in which riders are almost upside down.
When it opens, Tantrum will become Darien Lake’s seventh roller coaster.
Darien Lake is the largest theme and water park in New York State. It is located in Corfu, about an hour outside of Niagara Falls.
