A brand new resort called Disney Riviera Resort will be added to the Disney Vacation Club collection, announced Chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, Bob Chapek, at the recent D23 Expo in Anaheim.
Located between Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the resort will be connected to the other areas of Disney World by way of a new skyway transportation system called Disney Skyliner. Disney Skyliner will give guests a never-before-seen aerial view of Disney World.
Disney Riviera Resort is scheduled to open in fall 2019, will feature roughly 300 units, and will be the 15th Disney Vacation Club property.
