Aspen Skiing Company has announced plans to open a Limelight Hotel at Sun Valley Ski Area in Ketchum, Idaho.
The hotel will feature 119 guestrooms, plus 11 residential units. We expect it will welcome pets and offer affordable rates, too, similar to the Limelight Hotel in Aspen, also owned by Aspen Skiing Company.
The new hotel is the company’s first expansion outside of Colorado. Aspen Skiing Company owns four ski areas, as well as The Little Nell, a five-star, five-diamond property. In the near future, the company also plans to open a hotel in Snowmass.
