Washington D.C.’s historic Mayflower Hotel completed a stunning $20-million renovation and has become a member of the Autograph Collection of Hotels collection.
The Mayflower Hotel is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and Historic Hotels of America. Its top-to-bottom renovation included a stylish makeover of the 10-story hotel’s 583 rooms and 74 suites. Rooms feature a special throwback to the hotel’s history with an artistic vinyl signature wall recreating the hotel’s guest book with signatures of famous past guests, including John F. Kennedy, Winston Churchill, J. Edgar Hoover and Amelia Earhart.
