Jamaica’s all-inclusive Jewel Runaway Bay Resort has announced it will open a water park in December, 2014. Just steps from the beach, Jewel Runaway Bay Resort Water Park will feature water slides, lazy rivers and raft rides, along with private cabanas, an oceanfront sundeck, a stage for live entertainment and a full-service dining area. Lockers and showers will also be available.
Plenty of safety features will add to the draw for families; all water areas will be manned by lifeguards, and a full-time nurse and First Aid facility will be available to guests, as well.
“This one-of-a-kind water park is not just for kids or the young at heart. There are features for everyone. Families, young children, teens, ‘tweens and multi-generations… everyone loves a water park,” says General Manager, Scott Robbins.
Jewel Runaway Bay Resort was named to Family Vacation Critic’s 10 Best All-Inclusive Caribbean Resorts for Families earlier this year.
