Move over, Central Park.
The Gathering Place — set to open in Tulsa, Oklahoma — is a 100-acre, free-admission park designed for visitors of all ages.
The first phase of the project will debut on September 8, bringing with it a five-acre playground, water play areas, green spaces for concerts, nature trails, bike and skate parks, and sports courts.
It will also offer a community center and boathouse for social gatherings.
The $465-million park is the largest public park gift to a municipality in U.S. history, surpassing Central Park in New York City.
