Debuting this month, the 172-room hotel drew upon the area’s artistic, theatrical, musical history and political history. Renovated rooms with modern takes on 18th century furnishings were decorated with artwork by local artists, with costume and scenic design renderings from the hotel’s neighboring Opera Philadelphia, Walnut Street Theater and Pennsylvania Ballet. renovated hallways, foyers and lobbies take guests on a historical tour of the city and the arts, as well. Each floor offers a different perspective and the hotel hopes guests will explore the entire seven-floor hotel for unique glimpses.
