Hilton Hotels have opened its newest line of boutique hotels, Canopy by Hilton. The new hotels are targeting a younger, mobile audience with a welcoming and social lobby area, mobile check-ins, free Wi-Fi and breakfast, wine and beer tastings, welcome gifts and urban locations.
The first Canopy property opened is in Reykjavik, Iceland, however, 2017 will showcase U.S. openings. Canopy by Hilton will appear in Rockville, Maryland; Portland, Oregon; Dallas; and Washington, D.C., in late 2017. In 2018, more hotels will appear in Ithaca, New York; Oklahoma City; Charlotte, North Carolina; and West Palm Beach, Florida, as well as London.
